Inverno in Nahuel Huapi National Park

Nahuel Huapi, Argentina's oldest national park established in 1934, encompasses over 700,000 hectares of Andean lakes, forests, and mountains centered on the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. The park's crown jewel in winter is undoubtedly Cerro Catedral, South America's largest and most developed estação de esqui. The city's chocolate shops — over 100 of them — are an integral part of the winter experience, as are its dozens of craft breweries and fine dining restaurants. A rental car opens up the park's scenic drives and multiple access points, allowing visitors to combine skiing with broader exploration of this stunning winter landscape.
