Hotel Termas de Puyehue is a grand thermal resort that has been operating since 1908. Set in extensive grounds at the edge of Puyehue National Park, it offers indoor and outdoor thermal pools, a world-class spa, and elegant accommodation. The hot springs feed naturally into the pools at varying temperatures, and the surrounding parkland with old-growth coigüe trees is stunning.

Termas Aguas Calientes

Located within Puyehue National Park near the CONAF ranger station, Termas Aguas Calientes offers a more natural and affordable thermal experience. The open-air pools are set in a clearing surrounded by old-growth forest, with the steaming water creating a mystical atmosphere in the morning mist. The proximity to excellent hiking trails makes this perfect for combining trekking and soaking.

Termas del Parque (Antillanca road)

Natural

Along the road to the Antillanca ski center, several natural thermal seepages create warm pools beside the road. These are informal bathing spots used by locals and visitors who know about them. The volcanic setting with views of the ski slopes above adds drama to the experience.

The Puyehue thermal area is enjoyable year-round. Summer (December to March) is best for combining hot springs with hiking in the park. Winter (June to September) allows the combination of skiing at Antillanca with hot spring relaxation. Autumn is beautiful with fall colors in the native forest.

Como Chegar

Osorno is located 940 km south of Santiago on the Pan-American Highway. The nearest airport is El Tepual (PMC) in Puerto Montt, about 100 km south, with multiple daily flights from Santiago. Buses from Santiago take about 12 hours. From Osorno, take Ruta 215 east toward the Argentine border. The hot springs are located 76-90 km along this route.
